Moreover, the results can also be obtained through interactive voice response system (IVRS) at a charge of 30 paise per minute. Those residing in foreign countries can access the result by dialing 91-11-24300699.
A total number of 9,44,721 candidates were registered for the examination which was conducted between March 1 and April 17, 2013. In comparison with the last year, the number of candidates have been increased by 15.8%.
IITs B Tech programme aspirants will now get clear picture about their chanes to get admission as the result has been declared. The new admission scheme that has come into force from this year will give 40% weightage to the candidates on the basis of their performance in board examination and the remaining 60% will be given on the basis of their performance in JEE Advanced.
As per sources, the cut off score for the top 20 percentiles will be 391 for general category students, however, for OBC, SC and ST candidates, it will be 389, 350 and 338, respectively. For obtaining admisson into IITs, candidates have to fall in the list of top 20 performers.
